Grejsdalen Valley
Experience Denmark's deepest and most beautiful valley, Grejsdalen, which stretches from Grejs to Vejle. Go hike on the popular Grejsdalstien along the valley's steep hillsides and Grejs Å.

Munkebjergskoven Forest, Vejle
Munkebjergskoven is a beautiful forest along the south side of the Vejle Inlet with steep slopes and hilly landscape. On a tour in the forest you will be awarded with vigorous vegetation and beautiful views of the Inlet, such as at Munkebjerg Hotel. Here you can walk up a 218-step staircase up to Munkebjerg Hotel or drive along a mountain road with hairpin bends. In the forest you will also find Denmark's most beautiful golf course, Vejle Golf Club, which forms artificial, green clearings in the forest. Munkebjergskoven is also popular among mountain bikers.

Kongens Kær wetlands, Knabberup Lake and Haraldskær Forest
Kongens Kær is a unique wetland in the river valley of Vejle Å, which in connection with the Knabberup Lake and Haraldskær Forest offers a beautiful landscape, rich bird life and fantastic views.

Vejle Fjord - Tirsbæk, Ulbækhus and Daugårdstrand
On the slopes along Vejle Fjord, the beech forest rises like nowhere else in Eastern Denmark. You can watch the trees grow all the way down to the beach edge and experience the most beautiful views of the Inlet and the landscapes. The beaches at Tirsbæk, Ulbækhus and Daugård are popular with good facilities, inviting bathing water and magnificent views.

Nørreskoven Forest and Dyrehaven deer park, Vejle
The Forest Nørreskoven with the Deer Park - Dyrehaven - is one of the area's most visited forests. Here in the very versatile piece of nature with large beech trees, you are invited to enjoy many outdoor experiences. Enjoy a stroll in the deer park, see the forest from above in the treetop climbing park, Gorilla Park Vejle, or challenge yourself on obstacle course near the sports college, Vejle Idrætshøjskole.

Kirstinelyst
Randbøl Hede is Denmark’s largest inland heath, featuring wide-open windswept heather dunes. The scenic area now offers a hands-on visitors’ centre, Kirstinelyst, where you can learn about the fascinating history of the heathland.

Vingsted Lake
Vingsted Lake is located on the edge of the Vejle River Valley and is a historic bog where weapons were sacrificed during the Iron Age. Today, the lake is used for fishing.

Engelsholm and Gødding Forest
Visit Engelsholm Forest by Engelsholm Castle and lake and take a walk on the paths and in the baroque garden. If you have your four-legged friend with you, you will also find a dog forest in Engelsholm Forest. Gødding Forest is varied with firs, beech and oak trees. You can follow the Ancient Road (Hærvejen) through Gødding Forest.

Sønderskoven Forest, Vejle
Sønderskoven is an urban forest in the southern part of Vejle. Here you will find the popular nature playground and good mountain bike tracks as well as a dog forest.
