Fjordenhus is Vejle’s iconic building by the city’s waterfront. There is public access during daytime hours to Olafur Eliasson’s artworks on the ground floor.

The merchant house 'Den Smidtske Gård'
Den Smidtske Gård in Søndergade is a beautiful old half-timbered house, which today is the only of Vejle's old merchant houses that has been preserved. Feel the cozy atmosphere in the courtyard's café or wine bar.

Bølgen - the Wave
One of Vejle’s beautiful landmarks is the exclusive residential building, Bølgen, which has won international awards. The five waves each have nine floors with apartments offering a fantastic view over Vejle Fjord.

Tróndur
The Tróndur parking garage is centrally located in the city of Vejle and is known for its large stained glass artwork. The artist behind it is the renowned Faroese glass artist Tróndur Patursson. In the evening, beautiful colours light up the stair tower.

Spinderihallerne
Spinderihallerne (The Spinning Mills) is one of the best preserved examples of Vejle's industrial heritage. Today the mills house a local heritage museum, café and facilities for business and start-ups.

De Fem Søstre
Vejle’s distinctive residential building, nearly 40 meters high, the Five Sisters, can be experienced in western Vejle close to the city centre’s pedestrian street and the nature of the river valley.

Vejle Fjord Bridge
Experience the magnificent bridge, the Vejlefjord Bridge, up close at Vejle Fjord near Vejle Marina and Nørreskoven. The bridge is from 1980 and is Denmark’s sixth longest bridge.

Vejle Town Hall
Vejle Town Hall (Vejle Rådhus) was built in the 19th century. The current building is the town's fourth town hall and houses the Vejle council chamber on the upper floor.
