Runkenbjerg is a characteristic ridge in the western part of Vejle River Valley. From the trail running along the ridge there is a spectacular view of Vejle River Valley and Egtved River Valley and from the outermost point you can look back at Runkenbjerg. Vejle Å is winding it’s way all around Runkenbjerg.
Runkenbjerg offers unique experiences in terms of nature and landscape and has some amazing views of the creek valleys. There are no major roads around Runkenbjerg, but Bindeballestien, which is connected to several hiking trails, is located close by. No vantage platforms are planned, since this area is all about the nature experience and the movement through it’s beautiful ice age-landscape.

Parking: Parking below Runkenbjerg, 7183 Randbøl. Take Slotsbjergvej to the parking lot. Follow signs from Tørskindvej
Accessibility: Narrow gravel roads. Narrow trails from the parking lot. (Not easily accessible)
